Central South was started by Randy Davidson, Chuck Adams and J.P. Bennett, Central South started as a music wholesaler. Central South began carrying Gospel music when virtually no one else was, and became the first full line Gospel Distributor in the country to ship orders Nationally. That innovative, trend setting spirit of commitment to Gospel Music carries on today as we have practically become the industry’s leading full line distributor of all genres of Christian music. As Central South approaches its 34th year, the company has set its sights on increased growth through retail and consumer passion of Christian Music, outstanding customer service and diversity in product knowledge. Central South, once affiliated with secular retail chains, has recently undergone extensive restructuring, that has caused the company to voluntarily withdraw itself from the mainstream sector. Company President, Chuck Adams states, "Our passion has always been Christian and Gospel Music. Now that we are no longer a part of the mainstream retail business, we can focus on Christian music 100%. With the ever-changing music industry, we wanted to have the flexibility to make the changes we needed in order to grow and serve our customers better."
