Rapper/song-writer/producer Mr. Del is changing the face of hip hop, gospel, and more broadly, music as we know it today; as he meets society's need for a REAL hip hop artist BOLD enough to proclaim the pure, uncut, unadulterated gospel in his music. With a purpose of taking his message to the streets,God's anointed Hip Hop Apostle, Mr. Del, is committed to sharing the gospel in a way unknown to most secular and non-secular audiences alike. Formerly a member of the platinum selling rap group, Three-Six-Mafia, Mr. Del uses the most powerful art form, music, to promote life rather than death, and has devoted his life to the ministry, and thereby, the ministry of music.

Through Mr. Del's music, most widely recognized as holy hip hop, with beats that range from southern street to east coast bounce, laced with an undeniable, energetic flow compared to that of the legendary hip hop greats, united with priceless nuggets of old school hip hop and R&B the gospel is alive and well! Though a veteran to the music game, having begun writing, drumming and spinning when he was a child, Mr. Del is bringing a new edge, augmented with an increased musical integrity the industry hasn't seen in ages. He not only royally expresses his talent and passion for God and his people through his music, but uses his lyrics and his life to incite positive change in the lives of countless youth, and adults alike, that are falling into the world's death traps. Mr. Del has begun the Holy South movement, headquartered in Tennessee, with operations in the Midwest, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina and Canada, which, through tours and appearances, has been the vehicle for claiming thousands of lives for the Kingdom.

Mr. Del has released several albums through the indie label Holy South Records, (of which he is President and CEO), and was recently nominated for a 2005 Grammy in the Best Rock Gospel Album category for his fiery feature Shake˜em Off on EMI Gospel' Holy Hip Hop: Taking the Gospel to the Streets, Vol. I.
