RAE, a heavy alternative rock trio hailing from Conroe, Texas (North
Houston) is attracting quite a bit of attention with their infectious
blend of radio-friendly
melodies, aggressive guitars, and positive lyrics. RAE combines
a steady diet of cutting-edge rock and roll, influences from a broad
range of artists, and a finger
on the pulse of today's indie rock scene. Leading the helm with
her dynamic stage presence and aggressive vocals is bassist and
lead vocalist Kelly Robison.
less Mitchell adds his signature power playing on drums, while Bryan
Jones and his massive wall of guitar round out RAE. Described as
"music that motivates".
RAE's ultimate goal is to reach as many people as possible through
their music and live performances. Energetic and up-tempo numbers
like "Seize the Day"
allow us to take control of today and to live in the moment, while
melodic rockers such as "Find Your Way" discuss everyone's
relentless search for answers and the truth.
RAE has had the pleasure of performing with National Acts such
as Disciple, Pushmonkey, Jars of Clay, Harlow, Podunk, The Benjamin
Gate, Earthsuit, Sidewalk Slam, Buck Enterprises, Calibretto 13,
38th Parallel, Kutless, PartTime, III Harmonics, PAX217, Spoken,
Seventh Day Slumber, and Animal Couch. Additionally, RAE has headlined
numerous shows and festivals.
2004 will find RAE performing over 100 dates throughout the country.
RAE was one of only two (2) rock bands chosen nationally to perform
at the GMA Spotlight Showcase in Nashville, TN, February 2002.
In 2003 RAE released their debut EP which garnered "Honorable
Mention" as one of the top Independent Rock releases of 2003
from The Indie Rock Show/indie Artist Review.
