My name is Jason Wallace, I am studying to become a paramedic which is a big career change. I moved to Delaware in 2010 and returned to school that fall, I am currently in my clinical stage and am beginning to see the finish line in sight. I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa during Spring of 2011 induction and ran for Public Relations a short time after. As we approached officer elections this year I looked at where our chapter was and knew that with some hard work and great group of fellow members we could take our chapter from a one star to a five star.

I am a mother of two daughters and an Air Force wife. I am originally from California where I graduated from Heald College with an Associates in Medical Office Administration. I am an outgoing perfectionist who loves to cook, bake, garden, and organize. I am currently the Vice President for our chapter while studying to be a Nurse. I am proud and honored to be part of such an elite group of students and I am looking forward to becoming a five star chapter.

I am an RN Nursing major in my second year at Delaware Technical & Community College. I joined Phi Theta Kappa in 2010 and became Day Secretary shortly thereafter. I became an officer with Phi Theta Kappa because of the advantages and opportunities it provides me. I also get to meet new people through Phi Theta Kappa and I get to challenge myself as a person. I am a single mother to my 5 ½ year old son Maguire. I enjoy spending time with my son, my family and my friends. I am looking forward to graduation and going into my career field, and all of the opportunities that lie ahead.

My name is Danielle Marinucci, I am a full-time Visual Communications major focusing on Photo Imaging, Ad Design and Multimedia.  I am a second year student and have another year to go before finishing all 3 degree options in the VSC program.  I have my own photography and design business and on the weekends I enjoy riding horses and playing with my two dogs.  I decided to become a PTK officer to help our local chapter and become more involved during my time here at Delaware Tech.

My major at Del Tech is Nursing. I am actively seeking to become a registered nurse. I have worked in the medical field most of my life.  I have held positions as a CNA, Home health aide, Private duty nurse, Phlebotomist, Plasma technician and and Dialysis tech. I figured that by getting my RN would be a step up from the medical foundation that I have under me.When I am not at school or work, I enjoy to spend time with my kids. I like to vacation in Virginia  where I am from and where my family lives. At home, we enjoy playing a variety of table games and watch movies together. My kids are all teenagers now and they think it is kinda cool to do our homework together. I decided to run for a PTK officers position because with the amount of nurses that graduate and look for jobs every year I wanted to stand out from the crowd. The Hallmarks of PTK and how they apply to my life are changing me to be a better student, mom, citizen and will make me a better nurse. By being an active officer I am able to practice these hallmarks while still in school and gain a better understanding of them before entering my chosen career.

I am currently a marketing major at Delaware Technical and Community College. I am entering my second year of college at Del-Tech, as well as my first semester as a full member of Phi Theta Kappa. I love to work; I think the drive from working has helped me in school and in this organization. I also love to go out and meet new people. Not to mention spending countless hours at school doing extra work and studying. In my down time as every other teenage girl, shopping in a must. In addition to school and Phi Theta Kappa, I run my own business, of Thirty One products. By being a consultant it allows me to make extra money and practice my sales skills for when I enter the workforce. I decided to become an officer in Phi Theta Kappa, because the rewards are endless. It boosts my resume as well as teaches me about the real world. By becoming an officer I hold responsibility both in and outside of the classroom, the connections you make with co-members and new people will help later in life.

I am currently a second year student at Delaware Tech - Terry Campus majoring in website development. My past previous career experience has allowed me to become a website developer since 2001, working with various companies inside Nashville, TN. Upon recently deciding to move back to Dover, DE, I decided to go back to school to finish my degree that I should have finished back in 1999. Since my time away from school, I've come to understand the value of a college degree and the importance of staying current in your craft... because technology is constantly changing. Outside of school, I enjoy the adrenaline rush of rollercoasters, a mean game of disc golf, close friends, and good food. I am also active in my church community. Upon being accepted in Phi Theta Kappa, I knew that the best way to gain the benefits of the honor society was to actively serve, and so... knowing the needs of the chapter, I decided to serve using my skills as the chapter's current webmaster.

I am the chapter's former Secretary. I look at my Phi Theta Kappa chapter as my second family; therefore, I try to put my heart into it as much as I can. I believe in the dedication and passion of our team to rebuild our chapter and achieve our goals-- nothing motivates me more. Furthermore, I am currently a student in Delaware Tech, hopefully to become a Registered Nurse specializing in the Mental Health field. I am a Caesar Rodney High School graduate - Class of 2009.
