Once again, Ralph Eriksen and his B.I.G. staff put on a superior event in Adams County. Approximately two hundred and forty British vehicles from all over the mid-Atlantic region graced the center street and sidewalks of the Gettysburg Outlet Mall on Sunday, July 11. Although the skies threatened, and kept a few folks away, it never did rain and the clouds did help keep the temperature down. Fine examples of exotic Jensen, Allard, Lotus, and DeLorean marques and a few British bikes (including a vintage BSA pedal bicycle) were interspersed among the usual packs of MGs and Triumphs and gaggles of Austin Healeys, Jaguars, Minis, and Morris Minors. These provided hours of diversion to allow the “co-drivers” plenty of time to frequent all of the stores! As in the past, the Zembo Highland Bagpipers provided entertainment in the center court during the noon hour.

In addition to the LANCO MG membership, those in attendance represented the MGs of Baltimore, Central Pennsylvania Triumphs, Triumphs Around the Chesapeake, Central Pennsylvania British Car Club, Keystone Region MG Club, Philadelphia MG Club, Colonial Vintage British Car Club, British Car Club of Delaware, Delaware Valley Triumphs, Delaware Valley Jaguars, Delaware Valley Classic MG Club, and many others. The LANCO MG and the Adams County Toys for Tots program thanks all that helped in making the 4th annual “B.I.G.” show a resounding success.
